Feature Prioritization in Program Management

Features must be prioritized once we estimate them. All the Features of an epic need not be defined at the initial stage of development. Features and their Priorities keep evolving over time. But, once the Feature is defined it must be prioritized and must fit into the Program Increment.  

Based on the product development flow, Features are prioritized and are assigned Low, Medium or High status. Implementing the features in the right sequence will produce the maximum economic benefit. Hence it is important and critical. The Product Management has the authority to prioritize the features and the Product Engineering Team has the authority to prioritize the enabler Features.
